The "Reedham Route" check it on Google Maps
Starting in Little Plumstead, at the village hall (where there is parking available) this circular route involves a ride around several small, sleepy and quiet Norfolk villages on the relatively traffic free back roads. This route does involve some main roads, as you'd expect, but even these are fairly quiet and totally safe.
This is a varied cycle route that will keep your interest from start to finish. Whilst many cyclists would consider this "easy" there are plenty of climbs and ascents along the way to provide a bit of a challenge. There are two hills/climbs in particular, being the climb up to and past Strumpshaw Recycling Centre and the climb up and over the railway near the A47, that will get your heart pumping, your lungs panting and your legs burning.
This cycle route is suitable for all types of bike (racer, mountain bike, hybrid, folding bike etc. etc.) so it is a route all cyclists can take advantage of and enjoy.
Below you can see a video of the entire route, via a time lapse, to give you a taster of the type of roads that make up this route, as well as some of the scenery along the way.
If you fancy having a go at this cycle route yourself you can get the GPX/TCX files and upload them to your GPS.
