Starting in Little Plumstead, at the village hall (where there is parking available) this circular route involves a ride to Salhouse, on to Wroxham, across to Coltishall, up to Spixworth, over to Salhouse and back to Little Plumstead.
This 15 mile route is predominantly on main roads. As everyone who has been to Norfolk will know the definition of a main road in Norfolk is a road wide enough for two vehicles with a white line down the middle. It does not necessarily mean it is busy. You will encounter some traffic along this route, but not that much and all roads are safe.
This route is easy, but there are some changes in elevation, i.e. ascents and descents, to get the heart rate up a bit.
This cycle route is suitable for all types of bike (racer, mountain bike, hybrid, folding bike etc. etc.) so it is a route all cyclists can take advantage of and enjoy.
Below you can see a video of the entire route, via a time lapse, to give you a taster of the type of roads that make up this route, as well as some of the scenery along the way.
